World Elite in GE Money Grand Prix Helsinki on 26th July
GE Money Grand Prix -Helsinki will offer world class athletics for spectators
on 25th and 26th July.
Mens Shot Put in Helsinki will be a tough match between the World Elite when the top US throwers: Christian Cantwell, Reese Hoffa and Adam Nelson,
Dutch Rutger Smith (21,62), Danish Joachim Olsen and the best Finnish Throwers compete against each other.
In men's Hammer Throw Japan´s Koji Murofusi will challenge Olli-Pekka Karjalainen.
In women's 10 000m Ejagayehu Dibaba of Ethiopia and Deena Kastor (US record holder, Olympic pronze medallist) will head for a sub-30 minute run.
Men's Long Jump will be an encore of the Helsinki World Championships final,Meeting Promotor Jukka Härkönen is looking for the best possible competitors for the Finnish bronze medallist Tommi Evilä.The participant list will confirm in the near future.
Besides these, many other world class events will be seen in the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.
For the Finnish athletes Helsinki Grand Prix will be the last chance to qualify for the European Championships in Gothenborg.
